In accordance with the Republic of Lithuania Law on Electronic Money and Electronic Money Institutions and the Law on Payment Institutions, LuxPay safeguards its customers’ funds by holding them in segregated accounts with licensed credit institutions established in the Republic of Lithuania and other European Union (EU) Member States.

Important update regarding LuxPay services and wind-down process

Lux International Payment System, UAB informs that, by the decision of the Bank of Lithuania dated 31 July 2026, the Company has been temporarily required not to provide financial services to new and existing clients until the inspection by the Bank of Lithuania is completed and the relevant decision is adopted, but in any case no later than 31 January 2027.

The Company had already suspended the provision of ordinary payment services before the decision of the Bank of Lithuania and is continuing the implementation of its Wind-Down Plan. During this period, the Company does not provide ordinary financial or payment services and does not onboard new clients.

The Company remains focused on the protection of customer funds, safeguarding of remaining balances and the return / redemption of customer funds in accordance with the Wind-Down Action Plan, applicable legal requirements and internal control procedures.

Customers who still have funds in their accounts and whose accounts are not subject to restrictions are requested to contact the Company for the return of remaining funds.
